What to bring to the table.
ABOUT
Food
Guests bring their own food. Coordinate with your Table Host so the spread feels right, with a mix of mains, sides, and desserts. If you’re not part of a table yet, please contact us! We can connect you with a table or offer suggestions about what to bring.
Drink
Stop by the beverage stations in Friendship Square with water, sparkling water, and juice. Feel free to bring your own beverages as well, except: No alcohol at the table.
Bring your own
Family recipes, store-bought, or the latest TikTok fave. Make it as simple or as special as you’d like.
The tableware is on us
Each table will have full place settings with plates and utensils from the Plate Project at the 1912 Center. At the end of the meal, volunteers will collect all the dishes, give them a scrape, and take them back to the 1912 Center for cleaning.
Don’t cook?
Don’t let that stop you from joining in! There will be a table in Friendship Square with extra food, including allergen-friendly food. Swing on by and pick up something to share on your way to your table.
Label allergens
A small index card on each dish noting nuts, dairy, gluten, etc. helps neighbors with allergies eat safely.
And bring a recipe card if you’d like to share it!
